Alright! The big one! Welcome to the final part of the 4-part series Music & Mindset. I hope you've enjoyed the series so far. I also hope that you will take the time to read, process, consider and then action these changes in your life, because without it... I would go as far as to say .. it's impossible to be successful.
How to use mindset to succeed in your career:
Have you ever taken a minute to notice the eerily similar things successful people have to say? I'm talking about the uber-successful people like The Rock, Kevin Hart, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Mariah Carey, the list goes on. Their stories all sound the same; whether they knew the secret of mindset or not, they all had geared their mindset for success.
I remember watching Oprah, and she was talking to Michael Buble, who said he would keep his bible under his pillow and every single night as he went to sleep, would think of his life as a famous singer. He talked about how his vision never lingered and that he knew that he would be a famous singer with all that he was.
Kevin Hart and The Rock talk endlessly of their humble beginnings and how they had a strong vision that they would be successful. That's concentrating on your thoughts and planning out your goals. Both The Rock and Kevin Hart understand that mindset plays a huge role in their life and how successful it is. They both love Tony Robbins; they exercise and keep both physically and mentally healthy. Creating habits, patterns, and new belief systems is only the first step; continuing them is the most challenging and most challenging part.
Start talking to yourself baby!!!!
Yeah I actually mean talk to yourself, not out allowed, because I understand that could look bad 😆 but you know those conversations that you have all of the time with yourself? Start taking control of them.
I want you to start telling yourself that you are a successful, talented and popular artist, over and over, every single day. What you continue to say to yourself, you will believe. Have you ever met someone that lies so much that they actually end up believing themselves? It really does happen! That's because they have managed to convince their brain that this lie is, in fact, truth.
So I am telling you that if you want to be a successful artist, you need to start thinking like one. You need to start carrying yourself like one. You need to adopt the mindset of a successful, confident artist.
Remember, this takes practice. It doesn't just happen, things won't change right away, but they will change, and I promise you from the bottom of my heart that I would not waste my time or yours on talking about this if I hadn't gone through it and experienced it myself. My life is a complete 180 on what it was before I started this journey.. I would never go back!
